Monitoring at the location, every car driver who wanted to enter Pamekasan, was stopped by joint officers at the Covid-19 Vaccination Drive Thru location.
The drivers seemed to get maximum service from the medical staff when vaccinating and swab antigens without getting out of their vehicles.
Before vaccination and antigen swab are carried out, the driver must first have his body temperature checked by medical officers.
After that blood pressure, then asked for an ID card, and registered by the medical officer to vaccinate and swab free antigen.
Before being vaccinated, drivers are screened first about their health.
Meanwhile, drivers whose blood pressure is above 180 are not allowed to vaccinate.
Meanwhile, the results of the antigen swab carried out on the driver in the car, only waited for about 15-20 minutes.
The swab results are valid for three days.
The Pamekasan Police Chief, AKBP Apip Ginanjar said, the Covid-19 Vaccination Drive Thru innovation program was launched to coincide with the 75th Bhayangkara Day.
He said, the drive-thru vaccination is expected to reduce the spread of Covid-19 in Pamekasan Regency and immediately create an acceleration of mass immunity (herd immunity).
"This Covid-19 Vaccination Drive Thru Program is the first in Madura. We initiated the program in collaboration with all Pamekasan Regency Government stakeholders," said AKBP Apip Ginanjar.
He invited the community in preventing Covid-19 to take part and support government programs.
According to him, the Covid-19 Vaccination Drive Thru program will be carried out periodically.
He said he was grateful because today's public interest in vaccinating with the Drive Thru concept was very good.
"The form of this collaboration is a commitment to assist the government in providing health services to the community and jointly trying to restore Indonesia free from the Covid-19 pandemic," he hoped.
According to AKBP Apip Ginanjar, the drive thru vaccination service pattern is a very good innovation.
Because it can provide easy access to vaccination services for the community, especially for the elderly.
He hopes that with the various movements and innovations in the implementation of this vaccination, the target of vaccination for the next one year can be achieved.
However, the consistency of the government and the community to continue to implement the 3T strategy (Tracing, Testing, and Treatment) is still being intensified.
As well as community discipline to apply the 3M health protocol, it must still be carried out.
In this way, Indonesia can rise and be free from the Covid-19 pandemic.
