The Head of Public Relations of the East Java Police, Kombes Pol Gatot Repli Handoko said that the 4 people had different roles. HTS, acts as coordinator and data collector, suspect AD as executor who processes data sent to HTS.
"Then RH is in charge of looking for credit card data belonging to other people. Then the suspect is RS whose job is to provide Paxful accounts or data belonging to other people," said Gatot.
Wadirkrimsus Polda Jatim, AKBP Zulham explained that HTS, which acted as coordinator, acted to accommodate credit card accounts and then processed them which would later be bought for crypto or bitcoin.
"They processed this credit card first at Paxful, after that there was another role from the perpetrator using someone else's Paxful account, the Paxful account was sent to HTS, the email data on the credit card by HTS was received to be processed, after having economic value then some bitcoin was bought and partly for personal interests," said Farman.
Farman said, the perpetrator had been doing the questioning for 1 year. The profits received by HTS are 300 million.
Farman said the case would develop. His party has pocketed several names who are currently out of town.
"Hopefully in the near future we will secure the 3 perpetrators whose initials already exist and hopefully develop," he said.
Most of the victims of the burglary cases are foreign nationals. These profits are used for personal use.
"After processing the bitcoin profits are used for personal interests," said Farman.
