The National Police Chief Invites Muhammadiyah Youths to Build National Resilience

MANADO - During a working visit to North Sulawesi (Sulut), the National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, attended the Muhammadiyah Youth National Literacy Tanwir 1 event.

 In his remarks, the National Police Chief reminded that the undermining of the parties who wanted to destroy Pancasila was inevitable, for that he invited the Muhammadiyah Youth to take a role in building national resilience.

 "The role of Muhammadiyah Youth in building national resilience. Looking at the history of Indonesian independence, Muhammadiyah and Muhammadiyah Youths have participated in the struggle for independence from the colonialists, ”said the National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, in a written statement, Friday (2/4).

 The National Police Chief said the Government's political policies would certainly affect the attitude of other countries towards Indonesia. Of course, Sigit emphasized, the strategic environment and national resilience must follow developments in the global, regional and national situation.

 "The political policies taken by the government will affect the attitude of other countries towards Indonesia," said the National Police Chief.

 In addition, the National Police Chief also reminded and at the same time invited the Muhammadiyah Youth to help with the efforts to overcome Covid-19 carried out by the government, one of which was with a national vaccination program at the same time, also echoed health protocol discipline by implementing 3M.

 On the same occasion, TNI Commander Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto represented by Pangkogabwilhan 2 Marsdya Imran Baidirus hoped full support for the vaccination program carried out by the government.

 Imran also reminded that Indonesia as an archipelagic country that is often haunted by natural disasters is also one thing that all parties must pay attention to.
