During the review, the National Police Chief and Commander were accompanied by the Governor of North Sumatra Edy Rahmayadi and the Mayor of Medan Muhammad Bobby Afif Nasution.
Head of the National Police's Public Relations Division, Inspector General Pol Raden Prabowo Argo Yuwono, said that the National Police Chief and the Commander appreciated the COVID-19 vaccination service with the drive thru system. The two generals also conveyed that this innovation could be a role model in other regions.
"The National Police Chief and the Commander in Chief appreciated the implementation of the drive-thru vaccination system and could be used as role models in other places," said Argo in his statement.
Argo added, COVID-19 vaccination is expected to build immunity. Even though he has been vaccinated, this former Head of Public Relations at Polda Metro Jaya said that he must adhere to health protocols.
"The National Police Chief and Commander hope that the national vaccination program can create herd immunity. Even though they have been vaccinated, they still adhere to health protocols such as wearing masks, maintaining distance and staying away from crowds," he said.
