"I, as the Head of Police, appreciate the Banyuwangi Police for uncovering counterfeit money and firearms," said East Java Police Chief Inspector General Pol Nico Afinta, after giving an explanation and debriefing to all Banyuwangi police chiefs.
Furthermore, the East Java Regional Police Chief also conveyed that this was a means of motivating members who excel in Duties and Responsibilities (TWT).
"This is a means of motivating the Banyuwangi Police, and of course other Polres, to work better," he said.
However, the Kapolda will also give awards to Polres or other units that have done their job well.
"I will also give awards to other Polres and other units that have worked well. This shows that operational dynamics in the field can run well," he concluded.
The Head of Banyuwangi Police, Kombes Pol Arman Asmara said this was a form of the seriousness of Banyuwangi Police members in eradicating crime and criminal acts in Banyuwangi.
"This is proof of our seriousness in eradicating criminals in our jurisdiction," he admitted.
