The National Police Chief said that the launch of Polri TV and Radio was part of the efforts of the Bhayangkara Corps to get closer to the community through a public communication strategy by utilizing technological advances and developments.
"My hope is that by launching the National Police TV and Radio, of course we can provide education, information related to police services which we are currently developing," said the Chief of Police in his remarks, Monday (12/4).
"Of course this requires socialization," added the National Police Chief stressed.
With the presence of Polri TV and Radio, it is also hoped that they will be able to inform the police about the presence of the police in the community both morning, afternoon and evening. In this way, there will be interactions between the National Police and the community.
Most importantly, Sigit emphasized that the National Police, TV and Radio, can provide information regarding the trend of security and security disturbances as well as tips for dealing with social security problems with the hope that the community has the power to prevent and deter the problem of security and security issues.

On the other hand, Polri TV and Radio are also expected to become reliable information channels for government programs, such as the introduction of Micro PPKM, handling of forest and land fires, and how people deal with natural disasters.
"The information provided to the public must be accurate, clear and reliable as well as aligned and supportive of government programs," said the National Police Chief.
Meanwhile, Head of Public Relations Division of the National Police, Inspector General Argo Yuwono, added that Polri TV and Radio aims to provide information channels to the public in a transparent and reliable manner in order to create a precise Polri.
Where the aim is to facilitate the dissemination of information that is fast, accurate, and reliable, it can be used in comprehensive socialization of the National Police program, provide insights to the public about the activities and performance of the Police and become a reference for the mainstream media in making media.
The Polri TV Radio programs that will be presented to the public consist of. TV programs, namely: Presisi Evening, Presisi Afternoon, Precision Update, Indepth Story, Check TKP, Chief of Police for a week, Commander Wish, Inspiration Morning, and Podcast Polri Presisi;
While the radio programs, namely: Polri Podcast, Greeting Citizens, Morning Inspiration, Night Alert, Evening Precision, Morning Precision, and Top 5 News.
