"We are campaigning for traffic safety, while urging us not to go home because it is still a COVID-19 pandemic. We are alternating with sharing with others, namely masks of rice and takjil packages to break the fast," explained Ferdy to reporters, Friday (16/4/2021 ).

The police chief hopes that in this Ramadan the people will keep themselves wearing masks and applying health protocols when fasting and tarawih in congregation.

"For Muslims and the people of Probolinggo Regency, it is hoped that they will continue to maintain and carry out health protocols because it is still a COVID-19 pandemic and maintain the green zone status in the Probolinggo Regency area," he added.

In order to anticipate security and community service in this month of Ramadan, officers will also conduct patrols in each area by Polsek staff who are backed up by troops from the Probolinggo Police.
