East Java Regional Police Chief; Lebaran Homecoming, We Will Do Blockage at 7 Border Points

BANYUWANGI, - Head of East Java Police Inspector General Dr. Nico Afinta, accompanied by the Main Officer (PJU) of the East Java Regional Police, as well as the Head of Public Relations of the East Java Regional Police, Kombes Pol Gatot Repli Handoko, Banyuwangi Police Chief Kombes Pol Arman Asmara, and Forkopimda Banyuwangi, Friday (9/4/2021) afternoon, conducted a survey of ASDP Ketapang Banyuwangi Port In the framework of checking the readiness of the homecoming blockage to prevent Covid-19 transmission.

 This review is in order to check the readiness of government policies related to the appeal not to carry out Eid homecoming in 2021.

 "We are conducting a survey of the ASDP Ketapang Banyuwangi Port in order to check the readiness of the homecoming blockage to prevent Covid-19 transmission," explained the East Java Regional Police Chief, after inspecting the port, Friday (9/4/2021) afternoon.

 In addition to reviewing the readiness of the homecoming policy at the Ketapang port, he also saw and checked the Implementation of Health Protocols (Prokes) in the context of handling Covid-19 in several posts and the implementation of vaccinations.

 "I together with forkopimda Banyuwangi check the readiness of vaccination and implementation of the Health Center," he added.

 In addition, for Eid al-Fitr homecoming this year, insulation will be carried out which aims to prevent the transmission of Covid-19 and ensure the distribution channel of basic necessities remains smooth. Meanwhile, the insulation will be divided into seven districts, namely, Rayon Banyuwangi, Rayon Malang, Rayon Kediri, Rayon Madiun, Rayon Surabaya, Rayon Mojokerto and Rayon Madura.

 "There will be massive socialization related to the active insulation that will be implemented in East Java so that people will know earlier," he explained.

 In the review, apart from being accompanied by the Banyuwangi forkopimda, the East Java regional police chief was also accompanied by GM ASDP Ketapang, to inspect existing facilities at the port. Among them, Checking the readiness of Pos Digital as a means of monitoring if a vehicle enters the East Java region.

 "Checking the passenger route to ensure the implementation of health protocols, checking the feasibility of the ship and checking the post of isolation (the exit of ASDP Ketapang," he said.
