Anticipating 'Naughty' Taxpayers, East Java Regional Police and Directorate General of Taxes Form Teams

SURABAYA, - Deputy Chief of Police for East Java, Brigadier General Pol Slamet Hadi Supraptoyo, Friday (16/4/2021) morning, received an audience from the Directorate General of Taxes of East Java Province at the Tribrata Building, 2nd floor of the East Java Regional Police Headquarters.

 The meeting was attended by the Head of Public Relations of the East Java Regional Police, Kombes Pol Gatot Repli Handoko, together with the Main Officials (PJU) of the East Java Regional Police. Meanwhile, from the Directorate General of tax, there were Head of Billing, Intelligence, East Java Investigation I, Head of Audit, Billing, East Java Intelligence II, Head of Audit, Billing, East Java Intelligence III and Tax Auditor Supervisor.

 East Java Deputy Police Chief, Brigadier General Pol Slamet Hadi Supraptoyo, said that in anticipation of 'naughty' taxpayers in the future, a team might be formed between the East Java Regional Police and the Tax Directorate General. So, later this cooperation can secure tax revenue in Indonesia, especially in East Java.

 "There are many ways that taxpayers do to avoid taxes, so that in the future we form a team between the East Java Regional Police and the Tax Directorate General," said Deputy Head of East Java Regional Police, Brigadier General Pol Slamet Hadi Supraptoyo, when receiving an audience from the tax directorate general, Friday (16/4/2021) morning. .

 Meanwhile Ashari, Head of Billing, Intelligence, Investigation, East Java I said that his party was grateful to the East Java Regional Police for receiving an audience from the East Java Directorate General of Taxes.

 "We hope that there will be a wider cooperation in terms of securing our acceptance, and safeguarding law enforcement for taxpayers," said Ashari, Head of East Java Intelligence Billing Audit.

 Irawan added that the Head of East Java Intelligence Billing Inspection II stated that the cooperation with the Police (Polda Jatim) was very good for the last four years. This has been proven to always be rewarded for investigation.

 In addition, nowadays many taxpayers are 'naughty' where they always try to bankrupt their companies to avoid paying taxes. So that it takes cooperation between the Directorate General of Taxes and the East Java Regional Police.

 "Our duties are in the inspection, collection and intelligence services. We often have difficulties during collection, so we need cooperation with the East Java Regional Police to anticipate naughty taxpayers," he concluded.
