National Police Chief Listyo Sigit said vaccination was carried out in order to prepare TNI-Polri personnel to secure Eid Al-Fitr.
"Vaccinations for TNI-Polri personnel are prepared for security and for facing Eid Al-Fitr," said the Chief of Police in a written statement.
Sigit reminded that even though they have received the vaccine, TNI-Polri personnel must continue to carry out health protocols by implementing 5M.
While the Commander emphasized that vaccination of TNI-Polri personnel and the community was a form of the success of the government program in implementing vaccinations aimed at building and growing the economy in Indonesia.
"The government's aim of equitable vaccination is to build and grow the economy in Indonesia," said the Panglima.
Central Java Province is the center for the Lebaran homecoming flow. In this vaccination, 1,774 TNI-Polri personnel have received vaccines, while for medical personnel as many as 93 people and 50 elderly participants.
During his visit, the TNI Commander and the National Police Chief was accompanied by Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo, Central Java Regional Police Chief Inspector General Ahmad Luthfi, Pangdam IV Dipenogoro, Maj. Gen. Rudianto, Head of Public Relations Division of National Police Headquarters Inspector General Argo Yuwono and Head of Propam Police Headquarters Inspector General Ferdy Sambo.
