Probolinggo Police Arrested "Jumping Squirrel" Criminals Who Often Act in Dringu

Probolinggo - Dringu Police released a jumping squirrel who often took action along the northern coast road, Dringu District, Probolinggo Regency, Wednesday (24/03/2021).

 In a press conference accompanied by a Sign Language Interpreter (JBI), the Dringu Police Chief, AKP Taufiq Nur Hidayat explained that his party received reports from Fuso truck drivers for the east route who often lost their goods while resting on the shoulder of the road along the Dringu highway.

 Then Dringu Police conducted an investigation into the report, and sure enough on Wednesday (17/03/2021) yesterday at around 04.00 WIB, the perpetrator was on behalf of Abdul Fatah alias Sahid (37), a resident of Jl. Kakap Gg II A RT 03 TW 04 Mayangan Subdistrict, Mayangan District, Probolinggo City, launched its action by climbing a Fuso truck which stopped right on the shoulder of the road in front of PG Wonolanagan Dringu.

 The perpetrator tried to take the victim's cellphone who was sleeping in his truck, and when the victim woke up, the perpetrator still asked for some money by pointing a sharp weapon.

 "At that time we immediately made arrests of the perpetrators, and we carried out an examination of the perpetrators admitting all of their actions," said Taufiq.

 Kapolsek continued, the perpetrators carried out their actions at several points in the District of Dringu.

 "From the results of the investigation, the perpetrators carried out their actions at three different crime scenes, the first was on the highway in front of the Sinto gas station, the main road of the ceramic shop in Kedung Dalem Village, and the third was right on the side of the road in front of PG Wonolangan Dringu," explained the Kapolsek.

 From the hands of the perpetrators, the police managed to secure evidence in the form of a small knife, a doos book and HP brand Oppo A5 and A1603, Rp. 72 thousand remaining from the sale of proceeds of crime, and a black Fiz R motorbike with Police Number N 3331 NL which was often used by the perpetrators when carrying out their actions.

 Not only that, it turned out that the perpetrator was also known to have consumed Methamphethamine-type narcotics, it was known from the results of urine tests conducted by Urkes Polres Probolinggo on the perpetrators.

 "From the results of urine tests conducted, the perpetrator was also known to be positive for consuming methamphethamine-type narcotics," continued the police chief.
