Polri Stops Investigation on Case 6 of FPI Laskar

JAKARTA - The Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police has officially stopped the alleged attack by the FPI Laskar on the police at the Jakarta-Cikampek KM 50 toll road.

 That way, all investigations in the case and the status of suspects at the six FPI Laskar are no longer valid in the eyes of the law.

 Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Inspector General Argo Yuwono, explained that the termination of this case was as stated in Article 109 of the Criminal Code because the suspect had died.

 "The assault case on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road has been stopped. That way, the investigation and the status of the suspect have been dropped," said Argo in a written statement, Jakarta, Thursday (4/3/2021).

 On the other hand, related to this case, said Argo, the police apparatus has issued a Police Report (LP) regarding the alleged Unlawful Killing in the case of the FPI Laskar attack.

 Currently, Argo said, there are three police officers from the Polda Metro Jaya who have reported status. This is in line with the Kapolri's instructions to carry out the recommendations and findings of Komnas HAM regarding this case.

 "Komnas HAM recommendations and findings, we have carried out. Currently it is still in process," said Argo.
