The chronology of the arrests of the five suspects began when members of the drug police arrested the initial suspects, FN and CR, on March 24, 2021, at around 22.30 WIB on Jalan L.A Sucipto, Blimbing District, Malang City, because they were caught carrying Inex.
Then from the developments and investigations that were carried out, the police again secured another suspect, the initials VN, on March 25, 2021, in the area of Penaggungan Village, Klojen District, Malang City.
"Members of the poor police precinct, initially arrested FN and CR suspects, the next day returned to secure VN," he added.
The results of the interrogation carried out by members of the suspect FN, that he received inex from another suspect's initials IL, to ensnare the IL suspect, the members pretended to buy inex using FN's cellphone.
The undercover officer bought inex from IL's hands, made an appointment in one of the hotel rooms, IL asked this buyer to enter room number 619, then changed room number 419, when the officer with the suspect FN, knocked on hotel room number 419, it turned out that the room was there other guests and not IL suspects who are being hunted by members.
"The IL suspect who is being hunted is not in room number 419, but he is in room number 415. In addition, until now the members are also hunting for other suspects who are still DPOs on behalf of Toni," he concluded.
From the hands of the suspects, the police managed to secure evidence including four pockets of crystal meth weighing 16.52 grams, 20 pockets of marijuana weighing 39.23 grams, 1.5 inex grains and one cellphone.
The articles imposed on the suspects, namely Article 111 paragraph (1), Article 114 paragraph (1), Article 112 paragraph (1) Article 132 paragraph (1), Law Number 35 Year 2009 concerning narcotics with the threat of a sentence of 5 to 20 year.
Meanwhile, the suspects are taken to the East Java Regional Police to speed up the investigation process.
