Listyo was greeted directly by the Chairman of the Indonesian Corruption Eradication Commission, Commissioner General Firli Bahuri and the ranks of the Indonesian Corruption Eradication Commission. There were several things discussed in the warm and fluid meeting, including strengthening the Human Resources (HR) between the National Police and the KPK as well as efforts to prevent corruption.
"As previously stated by the KPK leadership, there are several things that we will strengthen in the future. One of them is how we can jointly carry out activities in the field of strengthening human resources, because we do have an MoU," said National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo. at the KPK's Red and White House, Jakarta, Tuesday (9/2).
As for the efforts to prevent corruption, according to Sigit, it is very necessary considering that the government is doing a lot of recofusing, aka diverting the budget to be used to handle the Covid-19 pandemic and restore the national economy.
"Of course we have to maintain this so that it can run well and then the program can be on time, on target and of course we reduce the risks of leaks that exist," said Listyo.
Then in the field, in this case of prosecution, the National Police pressed Listyo agreed to work together with the KPK in the form of a joint investigation.
"Of course we agreed to synergize in the form of a joint investigation," said Sigit.
