BromoToday.com - Probolinggo - Probolinggo Police Officers held activities in an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the Probolinggo Regency area. Masks were distributed free of charge to motorists or road users.
"Distributing free masks to traffic drivers on the Pantura road, Dringu district," said Probolinggo Police Chief AKBP Ferdy Irawan in his statement, Tuesday (2/2/2021).
Activities started at 08.00 WIB. According to Ferdy, the mask distribution activity was in order to support the policy of the Probolinggo Regent Regulation number 62 of 2020 concerning the Application of Discipline and Law Enforcement Health Protocols in Prevention and Control Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19).
On that occasion, Ferdy also appealed to the public to always comply with health protocols and to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Not to forget, he reminded motorists to maintain personal hygiene.
"In order to maintain personal and environmental hygiene, wear a mask, maintain distance, wash hands with soap or antiseptic, do not leave the house if it is not urgent and reduce group activities or gather in a location," Ferdy told reporters.
