Optimizing the Function of KTS is a proof of the seriousness of the East Java Forkopimda in handling the Covid-19 pandemic

Nico Afinta, accompanied by the main officer (PJU) of the East Java Regional Police visited KTS (Tangguh Semeru Village) in Ngale Village, Pilangkenceng District, Madiun Regency, Sunday (7/2/21).

 Madiun Regency itself is currently in the Red Zone for the spread of Covid-19. Meanwhile, the formation of KTS (Tangguh Semeru Village) in Madiun Regency was 135 KTS.

 After becoming the red zone, 36 KTS were added, which currently has a total of 171 KTS in existence.

 East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa, said that the formation of KTS was very important. This is a step and an effort to reduce the spread of Covid-19 in the East Java region.

 Ministry of Home Affairs Number 3 of 2021 is related to micro-scale PPKM, for East Java it has started more than 3,100 tough villages throughout East Java which were built with a format involving community participation led by the East Java Regional Police.

 "PPKM micro scale is actually similar to Kampung Tangguh Semeru, where currently in East Java there have been 3,100 KTS," said the Governor of East Java.

 From the data from the East Java Province Covid-19 Task Force as of February 6, 2021, the number of positive Covid-19 patients in Madiun Regency reached 1,199 (+21), recovered 988 (+19) and 96 people died.

 The Governor of East Java added that for the PPKM evaluation that had been implemented since January 11, 2021, there was a significant decrease in both positive Covid-19 patients and those treated at the hospital.

 Meanwhile, on February 9, 2021, a micro-scale PPKM will begin and it will no longer be District / City based and village based, even at the RT / RW level.

 Separately confirmed, the Head of East Java Regional Police Inspector General Pol Nico Afinta, after visiting Kampung Tangguh Semeru (KTS) in Ngale Village, Pilangkenceng District, Madiun Regency said that the Police (Polda Jatim) strongly supports the Minister of Home Affairs Circular regarding micro-scale PPKM.

 "I and Pak Pangdam strongly support the circular from the Ministry of Home Affairs regarding the micro-scale PPKM. Which will be implemented starting on February 9, 2021," explained the East Java Regional Police Chief.

 The East Java Regional Police Chief also appreciated the implementation of Kampung Tangguh Semeru in Ngale Village, where there are quarantine places for men and women, as well as food barns and fish seeds.

 In addition, in this KTS has also formed a good system, where access to the village uses one door or "one gate system".

 Whenever there are migrants outside the region, data collection is carried out and health checks are carried out, and they have formed (WA) groups which will be used for communication and coordination.

 "Kampung Tangguh Semeru in Ngale Village is quite good, which uses a" one gate system "to enter the village. In addition, there are also quarantine places and food barns," concluded the East Java Police Chief.

 Meanwhile, the Head of Public Relations (Kabid Humas) of the East Java Regional Police when confirmed after Forkopimda's work activities to Kampung Tangguh said that the East Java Government would continue to make maximum efforts in preventing the spread of Covid -19.

 "Real evidence of the seriousness of the East Java Forkopimda in these efforts includes re-optimizing the village of Tangguh Semeru which has been established," explained Kombes Pol Gatot.

 The Head of Public Relations of the East Java Regional Police also explained that Kampung Tangguh Semeru is based on problem solving (problem solving with solutions) or POP (Problem Oriented Policing).

 According to Kombes Pol Gatot, POP Principles are a collaborative strategy between the Police and the community that focuses on solving problems, through identification, analysis, determination of problem-solving and evaluation applications.

 "The local government, TNI-Polri are still working to solve the problems that existed during this pandemic.
