As was done by the Banyuwangi Police, yesterday (24/2), all personnel of the Banyuwangi Bhabinkamtibmas Police received briefing and training on tracing covid-19 at the Rupatama Wira Pratama building.
This training was opened directly by the Head of the Banyuwangi Police, Kombes Pol Arman Asmara Syarifudin, and presented a speaker from the Banyuwangi District Health Office, dr. Adriyani.
According to Kombes Pol Arman, this provision is to increase knowledge, increase the ability and effectiveness of Bhabinkamtibmas' role as a Covid-19 tracer.
"This training is related to Covid-19 tracing efforts," explained Kombes Pol Arman to reporters.
The material presented was about basic knowledge about Covid-19, especially in prevention, contact tracing, monitoring of quarantine, independent isolation and community empowerment in monitoring quarantine or independent isolation.
The Head of the Banyuwangi Police, Kombes Pol Arman Asmara Syarifudin said that members of the Bhabinkamtibmas as Covid-19 tracers could understand their duties as best as possible.
In fact, this training can be a provision to be applied on duty.
"We hope that it can be implemented in everyday life and also provide understanding to the community," said the Banyuwangi Police Chief after opening the training.
Kombes Arman also explained that this step is expected to be maximized to accelerate efforts to break the chain of the spread of Covid-19 in East Java, especially in Banyuwangi Regency.
In addition, Kombes Arman also hopes that members of Bhabinkamtibmas can be better trained and improve their abilities in dealing with residents confirmed by Covid-19.
"We want Bhabinkamtimas Pro to actively socialize halal and safe Covid-19 vaccination, continue to educate citizens regarding the discipline of the 5M health protocol in their daily lives," said Kombes Arman.
Kombes Arman added, after receiving this training, the Bhabinkamtibmas could identify people who were identified early on with Covid-19, so that they could be immediately followed up.
