Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Inspector General Pol Raden Prabowo Argo Yuwono, said that the National Police, through the Central Lombok Police Chief, had attempted mediation 9 times. However, the mediation was unsuccessful.
"Central Lombok Police Chief has conducted 9 mediations but it has not been successful," said Argo in Jakarta, (23/2/2021).
According to Argo, the case files for the case are complete or P21 dated February 3, 2021. Then on February 16, 2021, stage 2 of the suspect's submission will be carried out and evidence is submitted to the prosecutor's office. "During the investigation process the suspects were not detained," said Argo.
Argo said that his party had coordinated with K Guru and the Head of the Central Lombok District Court to conduct a virtual trial and the continuation of the trial verdict in the future.
Regarding the chronology of this incident, the former Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya explained, on August 1, 2020, information was obtained about the refusal of the residents of Eat Nyiur Hamlet, Wajageseng Village regarding the refusal to operate UD. Mawar Putra, because it was considered the smell of the chemicals used was very strong, so it had the potential to cause shortness of breath, coughs and other diseases that could endanger the health of residents.
On August 7, 2020, at 09.00 WITA, there was a mediation between the residents of Eyat Nyiur Hamlet and the leadership of UD Mawar Putra on behalf of Suardi. During the meeting it was agreed that UD Mawar Putra would be willing to treat residents suspected of being sick due to the smell of the chemical substance.
Then, on August 10, 2020, UD Mawar Putra made a complaint letter to the Kopang Police regarding the alleged criminal act of an unpleasant act, namely the throwing of the roof of the house of UD Mawar Putra leader Suardi by Rahmatullah. With the complaint letter, the agreed conciliation statement was canceled.
On September 8, 2020, at 09.00 WITA, a hearing took place at the DPRD Office of the Lofteng Regency. The residents asked UD Mawar Putra to close down because it caused air pollution and disrupted the health of the residents of Eyat Nyiur Hamlet.
Furthermore, on September 10 2020 at 10.00 WITA, a follow-up hearing was held at the DPRD Office of the Regency of Loteng to discuss the legality / permit owned by UD Mawar Putra. Subsequently, the DPRD of the District of Lofteng, the NGO Lira, and the Head of Wajageseng Village went to check the UD Mawar Putra location, but no cigarette production activity was found and the smell / smell was disturbing.
On September 16, 2020, at 14.00 WITA, a video of one of the residents of Eyat Nyiur Hamlet on behalf of Nurul Hidayah was circulated via Youtube and Facebook channels containing a request for help from the President of the Republic of Indonesia so that UD Mawar Putra company should be closed immediately because it threatens the health of the residents.
"September 30, 2020 At 10.00 WITA, a meeting was taking place between Commission II of the DPRD of the District of Lofteng, the Head of Kopang Sub-District and the Head of Wajageseng Village to discuss the problems that occurred. Commission II of the DPRD of the Regency of Lofteng asked for another mediation," he said.
On October 7, 2020, at 11.00 WITA, an audience was held from the NGO Lira and the Wajageseng Village Government for the UD Company. Mawar Putra was moved to a location far from residential areas. Then on 8 October 2020, the NGO Lira and Wajageseng Village residents asked the village head to close / move the UD location. Mawar Putra and if it is not fulfilled, an unras action will be held.
"11 October 2020 At 17:25 WITA, mediation was carried out at the Kopang Police and did not produce an agreement. And then a community leader on behalf of Dilman visited the Kopang Police and said that the Wajageseng Village residents were willing to stop the problem if Suardi withdrew his report," he said.
The mediation process was carried out again at the Polres level. But again, they found no middle ground. As for the total number of mediations that have been carried out by the police, 9 times.
After failing to mediate, there was an action throwing stones against the roof of UD Mawar Putra's warehouse, which scared the workers and stopped their work activities. This incident was then reported to the Central Lombok Police.
Suardi's party made a police report to the Central Lombok Police. The case files are currently complete, however no arrests and detentions have been made against the reported party.
