Humanitarian action, East Java Police Chief Checks Convalescent Plasma Donor Members.

BromoToday.com - The East Java Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Pol Nico Afinta, together with the Main Officials of the East Java Regional Police and the Head of Public Relations of the East Java Regional Police, Kombes Pol Gatot Repli Handoko, Friday morning (5/2/2021) checked the members, who are convalescent donors at the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI)  Surabaya, Jalan Embong Ploso, Surabaya, East Java.

 This is done to help the people of Indonesia and especially East Java, so that they are released from the shackles of Covid-19, which currently haunts us.

 Currently, there are 657 members of the Polda Jatim who have screened, while 120 people who have donated conventional plasma.

 The Head of the East Java Regional Police, Inspector General Pol Nico Afinta appealed to people who have recovered from Covid-19 and are still aged 18 to 60 years, it is hoped that they can carry out conventional plasma donors, so that they can help our brothers who are exposed to Covid-19.

 "For people who have recovered from Covid-19, aged 18 to 60, please come to PMI in all ranks where there is a PMI, then register with Bidokes for members of the National Police, so they can be screened. Thank God if their blood can be needed for other people who have PMI.  affected by Covid-19, "he said.

 Kapolda also reminded the public to adhere to health protocols.  The hope is that it can create a sense of security, both in the family environment and in the surrounding environment, so that East Java can be safe and healthy.

 Meanwhile, Triksi Hendria Humas UTD PMI Surabaya said, PMI Surabaya itself has been conducting conventional plasma donors since June 2020, but the increase in donors has been observed since Vice President K.H.  Ma'ruf Amin, launched the Convalescent Plasma Donor National Movement on January 18, 2021.

 "We have been receiving plasma donors since last June, but the donors have started to get busy since the Vice President announced them.
