The Aceh Police Chief in the press conference revealed that on the one hand this was the success of the National Police in eradicating narcotics, but on the other hand the Aceh Police Chief was very concerned about the discovery of 353 kg of methamphetamine-type narcotics in Aceh.
"I am concerned to see that such heavy shabu is still in Aceh, this has the potential to destroy the golden generation of Aceh," said the Kapolda.
Kapolda hopes, in this case the media crew will help the police to educate the public to stay away from narcotics and help eradicate it.
"The media crew must help the police and we must all unite to eradicate narcotics. If not, they will take advantage of any loopholes to supply narcotics to Aceh," he said.
"We must equalize our vision to free Aceh from the circulation of narcotics. We, from the police, are also ready to take firm and measured action so that they don't try to supply narcotics to Aceh," he said.
"This is all we are doing to save the golden generation of Aceh, totaling 1,760,000 people from these illicit goods," he said again.
In addition, the Director General of Narcotics at Bareskrim Polri Brigadier General Pol Krisno Halomoan Siregar, S. I. K., M. H also added, actually the information we got was from mid-December. After that, they immediately formed a team and involved the Customs and Excise because their mode was using the sea route.
He explained that currently the largest drug-producing countries are Mexico, Myanmar, and Middle Eastern countries, namely Afghanistan.
"In the future, we will also cooperate with foreign friends and international law enforcers," he said.
Therefore, Krisno hopes that all parties must cooperate and this disclosure is the result of this collaboration.
