BromoToday.com - TNI Commander Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto together with National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo conducted monitoring regarding the implementation of the Health Protocol (Prokes) for handling Covid-19 or the corona virus at Tanah Abang Market, Central Jakarta.
The two TNI-Polri Generals were compact in socializing the importance of the health protocol recommended by the Indonesian government to break the Covid-19 chain. They also distributed masks to all visitors.
"Today, together with the Chief of Police, I checked in the field, especially at Tanah Abang Market, regarding the main health protocol using masks," said Hadi at Tanah Abang Market, Central Jakarta, Sunday (31/1).
Hadi revealed that the use of masks is still one of the efforts being made to prevent as well as break the chain of spread of the corona virus in Indonesia.
"The use of these masks can continue to be carried out and do not let them loose because the only thing that is avoided and exposed to Covid-19, one of which is to always use a mask when doing activities outside, including keeping your distance and always washing your hands," said Hadi.
On the other hand, Hadi emphasized, within one week the implementation of health protocols will be increasingly encouraged. Later, the TNI-Polri will coordinate with the Regional Government (Pemda) to educate and socialize to the public regarding the importance of always carrying out health protocols.
Meanwhile, the National Police Chief, General Sigit, added that the TNI-Polri and all other stakeholders must work together to provide understanding in the form of education for the public to always apply health protocols.
"Adding to what the Commander said, I ask Security colleagues regarding the masks distributed to be distributed to all visitors who do not wear masks," said Sigit.
In addition, Sigit also ensured that TNI-Polri personnel would also enforce health protocols in markets, stations and other locations that had high mobility and interaction.
"So we will continue education on giving masks as well as other activities," said Sigit.
